About
Why Egypt.
Egypt's citizenship-by-investment program was established by Law No. 190 of 2018 (amending the 1975 Nationality Law). It has been actively processing applications since 2020 and has become one of the most-used CBI routes in the MENA region.
Four investment routes are available: donation ($250K), real estate ($300K with 5-year hold), business ($350K), or a refundable bank deposit ($500K with 3-year hold). The donation route is most common for speed; the real-estate route is preferred by clients seeking a recoverable asset.
The Egyptian passport covers 55 visa-free destinations, mostly across the Middle East and Africa. Clients choose it for recoverable investment and MENA business access, not for travel reach.
